A Love Pat

Okay, not really, but we have recently discovered the joy of wrestling (actually P more than me)! Most of the time we tolerate each other, but sometimes, he thinks it funnier than I do. Mommy was able to capture this moment where we took turns hitting each other and laughing about it.

Now, for those of you who are little, like you Tyler and Mia, just because we are laughing here, doesn't mean this is right. We get in trouble when we do it.....but it's still fun!!

Itchy and Scratchy..Show the Love

No pictures today, we have had a tough week, but I thought I would share the details...I always hear on The Wonder Pets that sharing is a good thing. First P was in the emergency room on Monday (you saw his picture..poor bro), then on Wednesday, I ended up with my own 104 fever. Mommy took me to doctor and they said I had some throat virus thingy. Well, I stayed home with her on Thursday and when she went to pick P up from daycare she saw the ill fated sign "there is a case of Hand, Foot, Mouth disease going around". Oh yeah, just great. Well, we figured that since we were already sick with ear infections and throat things, we were past that stage, but wouldn't you know it, that night Mommy saw bumps all over my legs and bum. She said a bell rang off and she remembered P having bumps on his arms when we were in the emergency room. So, yep, add that icky disease to the list of what we have had. We finally are doing better and have no fevers, so we aren't contagious anymore. We were well enough to go back to daycare....just in time to catch something else, huh?

But, I have to also share this story with you because Mommy says it was so sweet, she almost cried. We were at Grandma and Papa's house yesterday playing (we LOVE their house, there is so much room to run and they have the upstairs all fixed for us with toys and gates so we can go nuts). We were playing run and peek-a-boo with Papa when we collided right into each other. At first everyone was worried we were hurt, but before I knew it, Pax came right up to me and gave me a big hug to say he was sorry. I heard everyone say "awwwww, isn't that the cutest thing ever....where's my camera". Well, before they had a chance to snap, I had enough and shoved him away, right into a wall and then he started crying. I guess it was our first hugging each other on our own moment, but enough of the mushy stuff for me, I wanted to keep playing.

That's it, like I said, as Ming Ming says "sharing is good".

Sickie Poo and Ms. No Clue

So, it's time number two for me to hit the emergency room. I don't know who was crying more...me from being sick or Mommy from being sad and worrying about me. I woke up from my nap with a very high fever so Mommy and Daddy came and got me from daycare. By the time I got to the emergency room, it was 104!!! They gave me some num-num (medicine) and did a flu and strep test. Luckily it wasn't anything like that, just a very bad ear infection (I think this is number 10 already...look out tubes, here I come....hopefully not!).

Here I am very sad resting on Daddy. He and Mommy took turns holding me to make me feel better. We are so lucky to have Grandma and Papa to help us....not only did Grandma leave work to come hold me and comfort me at daycare until Mommy and Daddy got there, but Papa came and played with Larkin while I was getting treated. They are the best and we can't begin to tell them how much we love them! We are even so lucky to have our Aunt Becki as a nurse at the hospital and she came down to comfort me and visit. She's so special, we love her so much!!

So, I left with my fever down to 99.9 and a prescription for some more antibiotics. Hopefully I will sleep a little tonight and feel better tomorrow.

To make things even better, check out this picture of Larkin, she obviously had no clue. She was in heaven playing with her Papa and on the drive home was her usual silly self trying to put our Cubs hat on. I think she watched them win with Papa in the waiting room.

Keep your fingers crossed this is the end of my ear infections and send me a big kiss.

Summer Jammies.....Finally!

We can finally move into the summertime jammies, thank goodness. We are still sleeping in ones with footies (since we can't seem to keep a blanket on us), but as soon as we get up, we love putting on these new comfy light ones. They were a gift from Mommy's friend Brian F., he used to work with her. He just had a baby, we can't wait to meet our new little friend!

Swinger

We made our first trip to the park yesterday, it was so nice outside. All we wanted to do was walk around and check everything out. We even sat on Mommy and Daddy's lap and raced down side by side sliders. Here I am enjoying the swing for the first time ever. I'm sitting a little cockeyed but it still worked. My sister didn't care for it but that's okay, more time for me!

Another Set of Twins??

Daddy wanted to dress just like me the other day, he's my new twin, ha! We both have on orange swushy pants and a navy shirt (gotta sport the Illini colors). Aren't we cute?

Ladies Man

I love the ladies........here I am hanging out with my friends Maddie and Emma. I was so excited playing with them the other day, I was just running around chasing them everywhere. I got so crazy that at one point I just stopped and threw up from all the excitement, it was great!
