Free Samples

SAM's club is the best place for twins like us...where else can you get free samples and sit in a cool two baby cart? Here we are last weekend on our trip to SAM's club with Grandma and Papa. We went to pick out our cake for our big party...well, actually Mommy and Grandma went to pick it out and Daddy and Papa went looking for samples (and wine).

SHARING YOYO

Yep, my kitty Dooley is still around. I'm sure many of you can't believe it....he's like 20 or something. Here he is trying to share some of my yoyo (yogurt) with me. I think if Mommy wasn't watching, Daddy would have let him lick the spoon and then fed it to me again =)

Happy Monday!

If Mommy Only Knew

After all the cool toys we got, this box seems to be our favorite thing now. If Mommy only knew this, she would have just had a house full boxes instead of BPO's....big plastic objects! This is from our new big boy/girl car seats. We love them, we can see so much more and Mommy and Daddy make us laugh by looking at us in the mirror.

Here we are being silly in the car seat box.

When You Thought I Wasn't Looking

Mommy and Daddy got this poem yesterday at our pre-baptism class. It made Mommy cry, not because she was sad, because it made her think about us and how much she loves us. We wanted to share it with you because we love all of you!

When You Thought I Wasn't Looking

When you thought I wasn't looking
I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator, and I wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you feed a stray cat, and I thought it was good to be kind to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you make my favorite cake for me, and I knew that little things are special things.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I heard you say a prayer, and I believed there is a God I could always talk to.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I felt you kiss me good night, and I felt loved.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw tears come from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things hurt, but it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw that you cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I looked....
and wanted to say thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking.

Blankies, Bottles, and Dooley!!!

Check out these new blankets our Grandma Bonnie made us. Here we are chillin with our bottles, which Mommy says their days are numbered....we aren't sure what that means but we have a feeling it has to do with those icky sippy cups.

Our kitty Dooley (yes, he's still alive for those that can't believe it...he's like 20 or something), saw these blankies and was on them like white on rice.

Have a good one!!

Check Out Our Gators!!

Our Auntie Dem got us these cool alligators to rest on, play on, snuggle with...whatever we want. We love having our morning bottles on them while we watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Happy Monday!!

She's A Maniac!!

Here I am screaming in a silly way for no reason at all. That's my new thing to do. I just scream and then laugh. Daddy says I sound like a velociraptor!

Let Them Eat Cake!!!

Here we are destroying our first birthday cakes that Mommy made us!!!

Happy Birthday To Us!!!!!

Can you believe it, we are one year old today, holy #$%#@!!!! Mommy and Daddy can't believe it either. Just think, this time last year, Mommy was very sick in the hospital and Daddy was trying to sleep on the terrible "couch" in her room. But, it was all worth it, look at us now, aren't we just too stinkin cute?!!!

Here are some pictures from the day.
The first ones are of us eating our first birthday cakes. Mommy made us these special little cakes and we got to eat as much as we wanted and get as messy as we wanted. Daddy was freaking out...he hates cleaning us up. I think Mommy is rubbing off on him with his need for cleanliness, ha =)
Next, we both are sitting in our big boy/girl high chairs at the restaurant. We met Uncle Jon and Aunt Becki there and they brought birthday hats. Mommy and Daddy took us to our favorite place, Old Towne (okay, so it's more Mommy and Daddy's favorite place, but they keep telling us when we are older it will be our favorite too...something like in 20 years or so).We looked so cute but wouldn't keep them on long enough to get a good picture. We have on these cool 1st birthday onesies that Grandma and Papa got us just for this special day. We love them so much, they are always thinking of us and getting us such neat things.
Finally, that's P getting a Polish bath after nap time so that he is all spiffy for our birthday lunch.
Well, we have to get some sleep now, it has been a long, fantastic first birthday day but we are pooped.
Love you all!

Choked!!!

We were starting to think we were good luck for all the teams in 2007, but then just as the Bears and the Cubs did....the Illini choked. Larkin and Daddy stayed home to watch the game, but Mommy and I headed out to the annual New Year's party at Pam and Joes. We had so much fun seeing everyone. Here I am in my Illini gear all ready to go, and here I also am with my cousin Angela. She is so much fun, we love hanging out with her.

I wish I could say we could count on the basketball team to make things better but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Have a good one!

Christmas....Kinda Late

Sorry these Christmas pictures are late but Mommy has been trying to figure out her new camera, so it took awhile. Here we are enjoying some of our new favorite toys, a wagon and a push cart. There is also one of Larkin and Daddy all dressed up and ready to go.

Hope your Christmas was as wonderful as our first one, we will remember it always!!!! Especially the part where we played with all the boxes and paper at Grandma and Papa's, that was the best!
