Grandma and Papa's House

We got a ton of great presents this year!! We don't even know where to begin with all of them....this picture doesn't even show half of them. We love them all and love everyone who gave them to us. We had so much fun this Christmas, we are so lucky to have such a fantastic family!! Now, we have our 2 year birthday in two weeks...yikes, no room for more toys!!!

Hey Man You're Crazy

Today was my surgery to have my cyst removed. Before they took me back they gave me some great medicine that made me kinda loopy....it was so fun!! I want to thank Grandma and Papa for coming over so stinkin early to wait for Paxson to wake up (he got to go to breakfast with them and over to their house to play)...I also want to thank Aunt Becki for coming to visit and bringing me a cool Elmo movie and cuddly stuffed puppy! I love you all and I'm feeling much better already!

It's Been WAY Too Long!!

OMG everyone, it's been almost a month since we had a post. I am so sorry...mommy's computer blew up and all of our pictures went with it. She is trying to work with this nasty place called Best Buy to get them back (don't EVER go there). Anyways, here's a pic of me sitting on Bob the Builder at Toys R Us while we were doing a little xmas shopping.

After yesterday's historical election, we are so proud to be little Americans!! We look forward to Mr. Obama creating a wonderful country for us to grow up in. Today we decided to just list some of the "little things in life" that make us happy =)

Happy Halloween

So we were supposed to be Luke and Leia, but Larkin (of course) didn't want to wear her costume. We were able to at least get her to wear the hair buns. Don't we look cute?

We started off our trick or treating at Grandma and Papa's house. We had to show them how cool we looked. We then came back home and got in the wagon for our neighborhood. Ms. Terry and Ms. Cricket got us our cool Elmo baskets, so we brought them each a flower. Take a look at what Ms. Terry got for Mommy and Daddy!!

These are not the droids you are looking for...

Okay, I know Obi Won said that but it looks like I'm using the force on you, right? We went trick or treating at the Geneva Commons today. I was Luke Skywalker (in his X-Wing Fighter Pilot uniform). Larkin was supposed to be Princess Leia (get it, my twin sister), but she threw a fit and wouldn't wear the outfit. So, she wore her dress up tutu over her Dora jacket and my camouflage ski hat...yeah, I know, she's nuts =)

I don't know if we will wear these on the actual Halloween..I heard Mommy and Daddy saying lots of words while they were trying to get us dressed...they were words we're not supposed to say.

Happy Anniversary Mommy and Daddy...sort of...

Last Wednesday was Mommy and Daddy's 4th wedding anniversary. They had a great night planned at the Herrington. Here's some pictures from their beautiful room. Grandma and Papa came over and stayed with us. We were so good for them and went right to bed. That's when it all started. We both decided to get sick and cry all night long. Thank goodness for Grandma and Papa, they were so patient with us. We feel so safe with them that we finally went back to sleep. Unfortunately, Paxson had a fever the next day so he couldn't go to school. That means Mommy and Daddy's day off after their night away was spent taking care of a sick baby. Oh well, they still had a great night away, check out this bathtub in their room!!

Finally, here I am acting like a girly girl...I have a tutu on and giving my cheesy smile. Mommy got this for me yesterday and I had to dance in it all day today. I also have on my cool pink fuzzy vest from Aunt V...love ya Aunt V!!!

Mommy's friend Carrie came over on Friday and we had a party! Well, not really but we acted like it. Here we are all sitting and eating our dinner, and then here's Carrie reading a book to me and Nolan. After dinner we all got our jammies on and ran around like crazy people. Boy did we all sleep good that night!

So Mommy's sitter didn't show up today....no call, no nothing. So, here's a few pictures of our day and how we worked through it with her working!! It starts off with us "helping" her do laundry, then it moves to Larkin relaxing in the wagon by herself (P was at the doctor with Daddy), and finally, silly Larkin wearing her Viking hat that Auntie Dem gave her.

Lunchtime at Grandma and Papa's

Today is Wednesday so of course that means it's Grandma and Papa's special day with us. We have a great day every time! They come over to our house, we have breakfast, then we go out and run some errands, go back to their house and play, and now as you can see, we are eating lunch there. We get to sit in our own special chairs and watch Dora and Diego. Today lunch was Mac n Cheese and we loved it.

But, today was also a first....we took our nap at their house. Yikes, I know, we are almost 2 and have always napped at home but if you know us and our sleeping history, it's been quite a challenge. Grandma and Papa made another bedroom in their house so now we each have our own room. Of course we screamed our heads off for about 15 minutes and then just whimpered for a few but then we were out. Phew! Of course Larkin only slept about an hour and a half (she's not too fond of naps), but I killed it as always. They had to wake me up after two and a half hours.

We are so proud of ourselves and especially Grandma for letting our scream, we know she wanted to go pick us up.

We love you Papa, we love you Grandma, you are the best!!!

Cousin Mark came to visit us yesterday and I decided he needed to participate in our bedtime routine. So I went and got my new cool Elmo book that Grandma and Papa got us and made him read to me. I'm showing him where Elmo is on every page!

Snacks everywhere!

Mommy got us these little snack containers that are supposed to keep everything in....however, they don't work very well. We like to stick our hands in there and pull out as many as possible or even tip them over and shake them. So, we make a nice big mess which drives Daddy nuts. Yep, you heard me, it drives Daddy nuts, not Mommy. I think since we came around, some of Mommy's OCD has rubbed off on Daddy and he tries to pick every little morsel up. It makes for a fun game for us, ha!

Our Angel

For those of you who knew our kitty Dooley, he has lived a long life. He started off at Aunt Sandy's house and then when Daddy moved in there after college, he became Dooley's new best friend. See, Dooley didn't really warm up to people until Daddy got there. He used to follow Daddy's car up the driveway and want to come in the house to sleep with him. Finally, when Daddy moved out, Aunt Sandy said he could take him. That started Dooley's second lease on life. He became the best kitty ever and loved everyone and every lap!! =) When we came around, Dooley was never shy and always wanted to sit with us. Here are a few pictures of us all hanging out. Dooley was getting old though, and just last Friday, he had to go and visit heaven. We will miss him more than we can say and Mommy and Daddy are so sad because he was their first baby. If you knew Dooley, please think of him and say and prayer and if you didn't, please think of your favorite pet that you once knew and know that Dooley is now keeping them company.

Labor Day Fun!!

Grandma and Papa had everyone over last Saturday to celebrate Labor Day. We ran around and had a blast!!! They had all their toys out, the basement all filled (especially with the wee...that's the slide) and our own special high chairs...we were set.

Wednesday is our favorite day because Grandma and Papa come to watch us and today Papa was supposed to come upstairs to keep an eye on me while I slept....uh huh...I guess he was a little tired too. That's okay, Papa's deserve a nap too.

Birdwatching Buddies!

Check me out! Today we all went for a walk and I got to ride in this cool carrier and look at the birds with Daddy. Larkin wasn't interested; she just played with Elmo while Mommy pushed her in the stroller. I LOVE this thing. Grandma bought it for me; thank you Grandma, you are the best!! I am going to bug Mommy and Daddy and tell them I want to ride in it every day.

That's what we call Auntie Demaree...Memree!! We had a blast today at her house. We got to play in the pool, crawl through the tunnel and play with all the toys. Sometimes that cute twin thing comes out and we hold hands like this for no reason. Today it was just the end of lunch and we decided to show each other the love. Come on now, you know when you saw this pictures you said "awwwwwwww".

2nd Half of My Nap

While my brother likes to show off and nap for 3 hours, I tend to wake up after an hour screaming my head off. Here's the thing, I'm still tired so I do it on purpose so I get to do the 2nd half of my nap on Mommy and Daddy's bed. On Wednesdays, I have it all figured out....since Grandma and Papa are here, I scream really loud and then Grandma will come and lay next to me on the bed. She tries not to fall asleep but it's hard when I'm so quiet and cute. She took all these cute pictures of me.

As the Pussycat dolls would say "don't you wish your baby would nap like me", ha!!!

Lieutenant Dan...Ice Cream!!

That title is for my Daddy...that's one of his favorite lines. Here I am enjoying a cone at Sweet Tomatoes. We all met up with Uncle Jon, Aunt Becki (or Chi-Chi as Paxson calls her), Abbey, and Lucy. We had a blast and laughed a lot. Mommy says thank you to everyone for helping with everything, especially Abbey and Lucy for chasing us. Someday when her knee is better, she will chase you around, hee-hee!

That's Corn!!

Okay, I know that's a baseball saying that means a pop fly is as easy to catch as a can of corn falling off the shelf, but I thought it was funny for this picture. Grandma and Papa brought corn on the cob for dinner tonight and I loved it. She put tons of butter on it and even with my four teeth, I ate it all up. Paxson didn't like it....he just doesn't like the look of things even if they taste good.

Thank you again to Grandma and Papa for helping Mommy get us down for bed tonight while Daddy's on business. We love you so much!!

Bye Plane

Since we live so close to an airport, I get to hear planes fly over every day. Sometimes I get excited and say things like "Woah!!" and other times I get scared and run to Mommy or Daddy. Yesterday I got to see some really big planes up close. We went to the airport and saw huge military planes, it was so cool. I wasn't afraid at all. I kept waving to them and saying "hi plane" and as they flew off I would say "bye plane". Here's a picture of me and Daddy in front of a huge a plane named Witchcraft, I think it was a B-24. You can even pay to take a ride in them but it was a lot of money ($450)...that's over a hundred diapers...we need those more!

Future Lifeguards!

We had our first time at the big pool yesterday and had a blast. We met my godmother Demaree and her daughter Mia, Grandma, Papa, Aunt Becki, Uncle Jon, Lucy and Abbey. We all swam together and loved every minute of it (well not every minute...you know what I'm talking about Daddy =)

Pool Time

We finally did it, we went in a pool...well a baby one at least. Mommy bought us this cool pool on Saturday and it was too big to fit in the car so Daddy had to walk all the way home carrying the pool, it was really funny. Here is a video of me on the slide and a picture of us having fun.
